Wednesday -- Mr. Pifer died Tuesday morning at his home, eight miles north of the city aged 84 years.  The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Clay Church.

AMOY ... Curtis Pifer, an old and respected citizen of this township, passed to his reward yesterday.  Mr. Pifer was the life-long Democrat and for a number of years had made his home with his son, Jacob Pifer.
